Keeping up appearances

John taking a break after we've cut and some of the stacked firewood from the trees we had to remove to get the site prepared for pouring the floor of the studio. By now we have six or seven brush piles and lots of wood to split. We are getting a lot of practice with chainsaw, brush cutters, axes, and back muscles!

Goin' Fishin'?

Imagine the rod it would take to cast these 6' long fiberglass lures!

I met Ashley and picked up my two blank lures for the Clean Water Partnership fund raiser. You should have seen the looks I got with these two stuffed in the back of Waylon (the Black truck) as I motored back to the studio.

I spoke with the folks that made these blanks about the use of paints and materials to build up the facial features for the Clown design. They were very helpful! I look forward to getting started on these two.
