Post Turkey Day Gathering Up
I've been promising to get my studio journal underway and today is the day. This despite an overcast sky and a raging fit of laziness.
No time in the studio for days as family Thanksgiving took me to Huntsville for 5 days. Good to see everyone but, as my grandmother used to say, 'fish and guests begin to stink after 3 days' - My apologies to my sister-in-law for the protracted stay.
With the holidays comes house guests, decorating and massive cleanup. It will probably be several days before I get back to the work at the studio.
Two projects for Christmas await as well as completion of three gates and the ongoing construction of "Fear Flower". After the glass slumping and fusing class, I'm eager to add the glass mask to the bronze mask - I'm thinkg of something that involves making more masks of different materials to use in a grouping...
