Ordering The best strategy for ordering is to contact me by phone at the number at the bottom of these pages. I keep the phone with me most of the time. Please call weekdays between 7:30am and 9:00pm. Call Saturdays after 9:00am and before 9:00pm. Sometimes when I'm running loud equipment or tools, I'll miss a call but that doesn't happen often and I check my voice mail frequently. So if you should try and you miss me, just leave me a number and I'll get right back to you. The reason this is the best idea is that there are so many variables that capturing them on a form is not very satisfactory not to mention that making a good design for you may require knowing more about what you like and the setting where the gate will be installed. If calling is not the contact you prefer, click on the email link below, give me an idea what you would like and include a number and time when I may call you to discuss your requirements. Prices You can buy prefab "wrought iron" metal gates for $200-$500 from several mail order houses and sometimes from a home improvement store. You can also buy architectural antiques at widely ranging prices when they can be found. My gates are hand made from original designs. The 200 and 300 series range from about $900 to $2500. Gates made in the 400 series range from $2500 to $5000 or more depending on the design, materials, and studio hours required to execute the design. When a gate is ordered, the client will be provided a price before any commitment is made by the buyer to the project. Sizing • Materials and Finishes • Latches and Hinges • Ordering |
