Art Gates

All of our designs are registered with the US Government's Copyright Office. The designs shown here are representative of the three lines of garden or walk gates that are produced at our studio.  Each gate is built by hand and therefore is slightly different than any other built to the same design. We do not maintain an inventory of gates but make each gate to the specifications of the buyer. The following gates are examples rather than a catalog.

The 200 series are adaptations of more traditional patterns and usually involve assemblage of cast and forged parts. This series is usually all ferrous materials.  An example is model 200.

Mixing original art work and standardized frame design, series 300 gates are built using one of several frame designs exclusive to our studio. The central section of each frame is used to create a piece of artwork for the individual buyer.  The frames are steel but the interior section may include bronze, copper, brass, glass, stone or other durable materials. An example of this series is model 303.

Our series 400 gates are original and unique designs created for the particular buyer and setting. They may be constructed of  steel, bronze, copper, brass, glass, stone or other durable material and usually evolve from discussions with the buyer and an examination of the site where the gate will be installed.  Model 401 is such a design.
